Created attachment 479 [details]
1) Make a change to MonoDevelops solution file
2) Hit save
3) A couple of dozen csprojs will have changes
4) View the changes in the integrated viewer
5) Select a couple of csproj files and click on 'Revert'
6) Error appears as in screenshot
I don't think MD should be staging files at all, since it doesn't actually use the git index. See bug 372.
This bug has been fixed as part of the recent ngit upgrade. However MonoDevelop cannot cope properly with multiple csproj files being reverted at the same time by a git/svn revert. It appears to be reloading the entire workspace and re-initialising version control for every csproj which makes it unusable until you kill it and restart it. Working on this now.
Actually i'll file a new bug for that issue and close this one.
